About the Coffee
Sidamo is one of Ethiopia’s most established coffee regions, known for its high elevations, fertile soils, and generations of smallholder farmers producing expressive, clean coffees.
This washed Sidamo highlights the region’s signature clarity and bright character, while our slightly deeper roast brings added sweetness, smoke and body. The result is a cup that maintains Ethiopian vibrancy without sharpness—elegant, approachable, and deeply satisfying.
Brewed as a filter, expect a more black tea-like structure with layered berry fruits. As espresso, it pulls smooth and balanced, with gentle brightness and a refined cocoa finish.
Impact
This coffee is sourced from smallholder farmers across the Sidamo region and produced under Fair Trade and Organic standards. These practices support long-term environmental stewardship, consistent quality, and more stable incomes at origin.
Sidamo represents the heart of Ethiopian coffee—heritage varieties, careful washing, and a timeless profile that continues to shape how the world understands specialty coffee.
