What is a coffee bean? It’s actually the seed of the Coffea plant, and where every cup of coffee begins! Each bean is tucked inside a colourful red or purple fruit called a coffee cherry. And just like its name suggests, it’s a stone fruit (yes, just like a peach or cherry).
